My journey with polymer clay began in the early 1990s, but my inspiration goes back much further. Growing up, the vivid palette of Mexico City—where houses stood proudly in yellow, purple, and blue—imprinted itself on my soul. That love for bold, spontaneous color stayed with me as I moved through New York and New Jersey, finally finding a home in the misty, often-gray landscapes of North Vancouver.
​With over 15 years of experience now shaping my hands, polymer clay is more than just a creative outlet; it is an artistic lifeline. Supported by my wonderful husband (my biggest fan!), I truly embraced this medium as a way to let my vibrant Mexican colors break through the gloom, turning gray days into something joyful and bright.
​This process of intentional, colorful creation is my personal path to Zen.
